Let’s learn how to say each month in Japanese! Unlike the days of the month, the format of how to say each month is fairly straightforward.
In general, months are said by stating the number of the month followed by “gatsu” (月、”がつ”), which means “month.”

| November | 十一月 | じゅういちがつ | jyuuichigatsu |
| December | 十二月 | じゅうにがつ | jyuunigatsu |

You can practice by saying today’s date or saying when someone’s birthday is!
今日は九月二十六日です。
きょうはくがつにじゅうろくにちです。
kyou wa kugatsu jyuurokunichi desu.
Today is September 26th.
彼の誕生日は五月三十一日です。
かれのたんじょうびはごがつさんじゅういちにちです。
kareno tanjoubi wa gogatsu sannjyuuichinichi desu.
His birthday is May 31.
